Laser diffraction is a valuable tool for particle size analysis. In combination with the Hydro Insight researcher get an even better understanding of material behavior. Specifically, to understand what influences packing, flow and dissolution rate.
The suspended particles in the Mastersizer 3000+ dispersion unit flow also through the Hydro Insight. The suspended particles will be photographed in the analysis cell by a high resolution digital camera. The particle images are processed in real time to provide size and shape data.
