The sensors are mounted at a distance of 1cm. Thus, the system offers a sediment height resolution of 1cm.<\/p>\n<p>It is possible to measure a sand concentration of up to 500 g\/l or a mud concentration of 5 g\/l. It is also possible to measure turbidity in the range of 100 to 2000 NTU.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the ASM-IV also has an inclination sensor, pressure sensor and temperature sensor.<\/p>\n<p>The device is available for three different measuring heights. Variant S for a measuring height of 96cm, variant N for a measuring height of 144cm and variant L with a measuring height of 192cm.<\/p>\n<p>The sedimentation meter has a data logger with a capacity of 8MB, a 9V block battery is sufficient as a power supply. Data export via an optical interface.<\/p>\n<p>The data logger can be configured and read out with the supplied ASMA software.
