Morphologi 4-ID

Automatic dispersion, fast, statistically representative particle size and shape, and chemical identity of the ingredients of a sample with the Morphologi M4-ID.

In addition to the capabilities of the M4, the Morphologi 4-ID provides detailed material-specific, morphological descriptions of particle mixtures. Using morphologically-directed Raman spectroscopy (MDRS), automatic, imaging particle analysis is combined with Raman spectroscopy in a single integrated platform.

Infos / Datenblatt

  • All the functionality of the Morphologi 4 combined with a dedicated Raman platform for both physical and chemical particle characterization in a single, automated measurement
  • Dedicated sample presentation accessories enable measurement of a wide variety of sample types, including powders, suspensions, emulsions and filters according to USP
  • The patented MDRS capability provides representative and component-specific data on particle size and shape, providing valuable characterization of your sample’s physical and chemical properties
  • Automatically measures Raman spectra for hundreds or thousands of particles, saving valuable analyst time
  • Intuitive software ensures suitability for experienced and non-experienced spectroscopists alike
  • Easy correlation of morphological properties with chemical information provides the most comprehensive understanding of your sample
  • Automated workflows (SOPs) enable methods to be customized to specific requirements. In addition to user-defined classifications (MDRS) automatically and objectively by software, you can also easily select particles for chemical analysis manually from stored particle images
  • Ability to export spectra in industry-standard format supports unknown component identification using 3rd party spectral libraries
  • Tight control of laser power and acquisition time enables measurement optimization for a wide range of materials, from weak Raman scatterers to those that are thermally sensitive
  • 21 CFR Part 11 software option ensures regulatory compliance with pharmaceutical regulations
