Argus ASM-IV is an electronical measuring stick with a resolution of 1 cm which measures the sediment cover by optical sensors. On corresponding calibration the ASM-IV can distinguish several sediment materials as a result of the different reflection. In the data evaluation arises a 3dimensional diagram by reason of the measured height, the time and the different materials.
