UPI User Probe Interface

The UPI enables sensors to calibrate without any operator interaction by "Closed Loop Calibration" connection direct to the calibrator.


CH-5 Kühler / Chiller

Technical Data
The CH-5 Chiller Unit is designed for use in conjunction with the TECAL 140 Calibrators to achieve calibration temperatures down to -40°C.

In normal ambient temperatures of up to 20°C the minimum temperature obtainable with the TECAL models 140 is 45°C below ambient; by artificially cooling the heatsink of the units with water from the chiller -40°C can be obtained.

The unit is designed to run on distilled or deionised water. The CH-5 can also be used to pass cooling water through the cooling coil on the Calibration Baths (LCB) and Cooling Probe (FDBOOCP) minimum temperature +10°C.

A Refrigeration Control Pack (FCPID) can be supplied fitted to any Techne Refrigerated Bath. The Control Pack will turn the Refrigeration unit "On" or "off" when required following a signal from the TU-20D/TU-20HT thermoregulator when used in conjunction with Thermsoft software.
