Mastersizer 2000 E

The Mastersizer 2000E is the newly launched entry-level particle size analyzer for the Mastersizer family. Based on the award-winning Mastersizer 2000, it provides a cost-effective solution for those users who do not immediately require the full Mastersizer 2000 specification, but who would like the option to upgrade as their needs develop.

Dispersion Units for the Mastersizer 2000E

  • Broad measuring range
Measures materials from 0.1µm to 1000µm without the need for lens changes.
  • Wide range of sample types
Enables the accurate measurement of emulsions, suspensions and dry powders.
  • Flexibility
Range of semi-automated sample dispersion units is available. "Plug and Play" cassette system allows rapid changeover between dispersion units, with automatic software recognition of which unit is in use.
  • Ease of use
An SOP wizard helps users to create good measurement methods. SOPs can be defined and saved for future reference. These guide users through the entire measurement process, prompting the user to follow the correct measurement procedure.
  • Upgradeable
Fully upgradeable on-site to the specification of the full Mastersizer 2000 system. This ensures the instrument capabilities develop in line with your application requirements.
  • User-friendly Software
On-line help and advice is provided on every aspect of performing a measurement. Screen and printed reports can be easily configured to present the results in a format which suits your application.Data export is also provided to allow tranfer of results to other data analysis programs.
  • Accuracy and Reproducibility
Accuracy: ± 1% on the Dv50 using the Malvern Quality Audit Standard. Instrument-to-instrument reproducibility: Better than 1% RSD on the Dv50 using the Malvern Quality Audit Standard.
