Dispersionunits for MS2000

For the Mastersizer 2000 the following Dispersionunits are available.

Wetmeasurement:

At the Wetdispersionunits there are 5 differently modells with the following characteristics:

It's able to operate the Dispersionunits with differently Dispersionthings how for example: water, alcoholics or solvents. There certainly is the possibility to use more Dispersionunits on one apparat.

Autosampler:

The Autosampler is able to handle 36 beakers and can titrate 2 different dispersig agents or other surfactants automatically to the sample during the measurement. Isokinetic sampling and concentration measurement provide an optimal samplepreparation. After the measurement it can clean itself and eliminates cross contamination of different samples. The samples are idetified by an integrated bar code scanner. The Autosampler need a HydroS or HydroG to work.

In the software you can manage your samples by "Drag & drog" offline so that you don't have to stop the operation of your measuring system. The autosampler allows you to measure you sample fully automated without user interaction so that you have more time for your other work or it can work ove night.

The Scirocco sample dispersion unit need for operation compressed and clean air and can adjust and controll the airpressure between 0 and 4 bar with an accuracy of 0.2bar. For the operation it also needs vacuum which is generated by a ordenary vaccum cleaner that is controlled by the software. It is also SOP operated and can be used in automatic labs. There are three Slits available, depended on your available sample amount. To measure abrasive samples like cement the Scirocco is available with ceramic parts.
